Senado Square

So one some of the days we have had off here in Macau, we found a great place to go hang out, Senado Square. It is a crossroad of some western restaurants (McDonald's, Starbucks, Hagen Das?sp?), alot of shopping, some good Chinese restaurants, some sight seeing opportunities, and a place where alot of people hang out. Since we are in Macau during the Olympics, there are huge tv's set all over the squares in China for people to meet and watch the Olympics. Here in Senado square is no different. Hmm, the Chinese pulling for there basketball team to win, i think it is just a disappointment in the making! HA

Here are a few of the sights around the square. There are a lot of old historical buildings, many of which with Portuguese background. And the Macau ruins, which are definitely worth checking out when in Macau.

Here is a group of us eating at another favorite place in Macau, called "B Plus". Funny name, but good Chinese food!!!
